Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how 9660 Technologies ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use Onbourd Alerts (the "Service"). We are committed to handling your data responsibly and in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: your name (if provided), email address, and sign-in credentials.
- Subscription data: your plan and billing status, and limited payment metadata from our payment processor (for example the card type and last four digits) — we never see or store your full card number.
- Usage data: your watchlists, price alerts, portfolios and the holdings you enter (such as the number of shares and the cost you paid), dividend reminders, notification preferences, and your interactions with the Service.
- Notification data: a device push token, so we can send the price and dividend alerts you ask for. You can turn push notifications off in the app or in your device settings.
- Technical data: device, browser, IP address, and approximate location for security and analytics.
2. How we use your data
- To provide and personalise the Service (e.g. your watchlist and alerts).
- To process subscriptions and send service-related messages.
- To improve the product and keep it secure.
- To send the weekly digest and product updates, where you have opted in.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, under appropriate safeguards, and where required by law. These include our cloud hosting and database providers, our payment processor (Paystack), our email delivery provider, and our push-notification provider (Expo).
4. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal obligations. You can delete your account and associated personal data at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete account), or by contacting us using the details below. See how to delete your account for full details.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and, with your consent, analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser or our cookie settings.
