The Nigerian Exchange closed the week on a firm note: on Friday, 4 September 2026 the NGX All-Share Index rose 0.25% to 246,992.44, with market capitalisation at about ₦159.56 trillion and balanced breadth of 33 advancers, 33 decliners and 81 unchanged, per Mansa Markets data. Momentum had been positive from the start of the week, with the ASI up 0.40% at 245,180.38 during Tuesday's session, following the previous week's rebound in which investors gained roughly ₦1.293 trillion.
